Bluecctv AP-AMP-4 1-in 4-out Video Amplifier

SKU CH-HTAP-1DDVY

Distributes one video and audio signal to four outputs with 1.0 Vp-p video input, 2.0 Vp-p audio input and 75 Ohm impedance, powered by an included 12 V 500 mA adaptor consuming 2.4 W

  • One input feeds four monitors for wider coverage
  • Video output reaches 2.0 Vp-p for strong signal
  • Audio output reaches 2.0 Vp-p for clear sound
  • 75 Ohm impedance matches standard coaxial cabling
  • DC 12 V 500 mA adaptor included for immediate power

Bluecctv AP-AMP-4 Video Amplifier

The Bluecctv AP-AMP-4 is a four-channel video amplifier that accepts one video and audio input and distributes identical signals to four outputs. It suits installers who need to feed multiple monitors or recorders from a single camera source without signal degradation.

Sustained signal distribution

Each output maintains a 2.0 Vp-p video level and 2.0 Vp-p audio level while the input sits at 1.0 Vp-p video and up to 2.0 Vp-p audio. The 75 Ohm impedance match on every port preserves signal integrity during continuous operation across all four channels simultaneously.

Thermals and power in normal use

The unit operates between 5°C and 60°C while drawing 2.4 watts from the included 12 V 500 mA DC adaptor. Its compact 5.0 x 4.0 x 0.75 cm enclosure dissipates heat passively with no moving parts, so acoustic noise is absent in typical surveillance installations.

Questions about this item

How much heat or power draw should I expect from the 2.4 W amplifier running continuously?

The unit draws 2.4 watts from its 12 V supply and operates between 5 °C and 60 °C, so heat output is minimal for all-day use.

What cables or connectors must I already have to hook up the four BNC outputs?

You need standard 75-ohm coaxial cable with BNC plugs for each video run; the amplifier provides four outputs from a single input.

Will the 1.0 Vp-p video input level match the signal coming from my older analogue cameras?

Yes — the amplifier accepts a 1.0 Vp-p video signal, which is the standard level used by most legacy analogue cameras.
