Four-Channel Surveillance Kit

This Bluecctv B-TSP-H4EF100 package delivers a complete four-channel CCTV system built around an H.264 standalone DVR with a pre-installed 1TB hard drive. Four Sony Effio DSP box cameras provide 700 TV lines of resolution for clear analogue video capture. The bundle includes all necessary cabling and power adapters for immediate installation. It suits homeowners or small businesses needing a ready-to-deploy wired monitoring solution.

H.264 DVR Replaces Older Recorders

The included H8024 DVR uses H.264 compression to significantly reduce storage consumption compared to legacy MPEG-4 or M-JPEG recorders. Dual streaming allows simultaneous high-quality local recording and efficient remote viewing over the network. Upgrading is worthwhile when existing equipment lacks USB backup, VGA output up to 1024x768 resolution, or motion-triggered email alerts. The system also adds CMS support for centralised multi-site management.

Check Cabling And Power Before Ordering

Each camera requires a dedicated 12V DC 1000mA power adapter connected locally, so verify mains outlet availability at all four mounting positions. The supplied 50 ft pre-made combo cables carry both video and power; measure runs to confirm this length reaches the DVR without joins. Ensure your monitor or TV accepts a VGA input at 1024x768 for local setup and playback. Remote access relies on a wired network connection to the DVR.

Questions about this item

How much space do the four cameras and their 50 ft cables need for mounting?

Each of the four Sony Effio 700TVL box cameras connects via a 50 ft pre-made combo cable, so plan cable runs up to that length per camera and allow room for the DVR and its 1TB drive.

What is the most common mistake when hooking up the H.264 DVR and cameras?

Forgetting to connect each camera to its own 1000mA 12V DC power adapter before linking the video cable to the DVR channels.

Which parts of this kit will need replacement first under continuous recording?

The 1TB hard drive inside the H8024 DVR will wear out before the cameras or cables, so budget for a drive swap after heavy use.
