Outdoor HD-SDI bullet camera

The Bluecctv BL-1712B is an outdoor bullet camera built for analog HD-SDI surveillance systems. It delivers a 2MP 1080p picture at 25 or 30 frames per second through a 1/2.8 sensor. The housing meets IP66 weather proofing and includes 72 IR LEDs for 0 lux night viewing. It suits installers who need a coaxial-cabled camera with on-screen display control.

HD-SDI over coaxial cable

The single specification that decides fit is the HD-SDI video interface, which carries 1080p or 720p resolution over RG59 or RG6 coaxial cable with crimp or compressed connectors. The camera also provides a simultaneous analog output for legacy monitors or recorders. A 2.8 to 12mm varifocal lens lets the installer adjust the field of view on site. Dual video output and built-in OSD simplify commissioning.

DC 12V power and RG59/6 cabling

The unit requires a DC 12V supply and a coaxial run using RG59 or RG6 cable with crimp or compressed connectors. It frees the installer from network configuration because the signal travels over traditional coax rather than IP. The IP66 rating allows direct mounting on exterior walls without extra enclosures. Built-in smart IR, true day and night ICR, and digital noise reduction handle low-light scenes automatically.
