3.0 Megapixel Outdoor IP Camera

The Bluecctv BL-IPI-4300 is a 3.0 megapixel network camera built for outdoor surveillance. It uses a 1/2.8” SONY Exmor CMOS sensor and a TI DaVinci DSP to deliver H.264 video and JPEG snapshots. The camera provides true day and night operation via an ICR mechanism and integrated IR LEDs covering 20 to 30 metres. An 8 to 16 mm varifocal lens with auto iris allows adjustable field of view for perimeter monitoring.

PoE and Dual Power with Local Storage

The unit accepts PoE, DC12V or AC24V power, simplifying cabling when a PoE switch or injector is available. A micro SD slot supports cards up to 32 GB for edge recording without a separate recorder. Alarm I/O terminals and an RS485 port enable integration with external sensors or PTZ controllers. Dual streaming lets the camera send a high-resolution feed to an NVR while transmitting a lower-bandwidth stream for remote viewing.

Suited for Fixed Outdoor Points Not PTZ

This model suits installers needing a weather-rated IP66 bullet camera with varifocal optics for entrances, yards or building perimeters. Buyers requiring motorised pan tilt zoom movement should look elsewhere as the lens is fixed-position. Users wanting wireless connectivity or onboard analytics beyond basic motion detection will need a different platform. The camera is designed for wired network infrastructure and conventional recording setups.

Questions about this item

How long can the BL-IPI-4300 record continuously at 15 fps before the 32 GB Micro SD card fills up?

At 3.0 megapixel resolution and 15 fps with H.264 compression, a 32 GB card stores roughly one to two days of continuous footage; motion-triggered recording extends this significantly.

What are the operating temperature and power draw when the BL-IPI-4300 runs 24/7 with IR LEDs active?

The camera is rated IP66 for outdoor use and accepts PoE or 12 V DC / 24 V AC; IR LEDs draw extra current at night, so ensure the PoE switch or power supply provides adequate headroom.

Which recorder or software must I already have to view and manage the BL-IPI-4300?

It works with the built-in web interface, Bluecctv CMS (PSS/DSS), DMSS mobile app, or any ONVIF-compatible NVR that supports H.264 dual-stream cameras.
