Outdoor vandal dome with 3 megapixel sensor

The Bluecctv BL-IPV5300 is a 3.0 megapixel IP camera built for outdoor surveillance. It uses a 1/2.8 inch SONY Exmor CMOS sensor and TI DaVinci DSP to deliver H.264 video at 15fps in 2048×1536 resolution or 25/30fps at 1080P. Dual encoding streams are supported alongside JPEG image capture. The housing carries IP66 water-proof and IK10 vandal-resistant ratings.

Check PoE, power and local storage needs

Verify that your network switch or injector supplies PoE, or plan for the DC12V/AC24V dual power option. The varifocal lens covers 4.5-10mm with an F1.6 auto iris, so confirm the viewing angle suits the mounting position. Local recording requires a micro SD card up to 32GB, which is not included. Alarm I/O and RS485 interfaces are available for external sensor integration.

Suits fixed outdoor sites needing rugged PoE cameras

This camera fits installations that demand a weather-sealed, vandal-resistant dome with PoE simplicity and onboard SD backup. It is less suited for buyers who want higher frame rates at maximum resolution, longer IR range beyond 20 meters, or wireless connectivity. Projects requiring larger local storage capacity or motorised pan-tilt movement should look at alternative form factors.
