Indoor Analog Dome Camera

The Bluecctv BL-IR9524-IN-B is an analog dome camera designed for indoor surveillance. It uses a 1/3 inch Sony Super HAD CCD sensor that delivers 480 TV lines of resolution. The fixed 3.6mm lens provides a set viewing angle for general monitoring. This unit suits installers who need a straightforward indoor camera without network configuration.

Low-Light Performance and Power

Twenty-four infrared LEDs activate automatically to provide illumination in total darkness up to 40 feet. Electronic light control, automatic gain control and automatic white balance adjust the image under changing indoor lighting. The camera draws 300mA at 12V DC, keeping power consumption modest for multi-camera installations. It operates silently with no moving parts or cooling fans.

Build and Installation Notes

The black dome housing is intended for indoor mounting only and offers no weather sealing for outdoor exposure. A 12V DC power connection is required, so a separate power supply or distribution box must be provided. The fixed lens cannot be adjusted after installation, limiting flexibility for focal length changes. Buyers who need varifocal adjustment or outdoor-rated enclosures should consider other models.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the BL-IR9524-IN-B dome camera and what wiring mistake should I avoid?

Mount the dome on a ceiling or wall bracket indoors, then connect the 12V DC supply observing correct polarity; the camera draws 300mA so use a supply rated for at least that current.

Which parts of the BL-IR9524-IN-B will need attention or replacement over time?

The 24 infrared LEDs provide night vision to 40 feet; their output gradually dims after years of continuous use and they cannot be individually replaced, so plan for eventual camera replacement.

What is the first limitation I will hit when running the BL-IR9524-IN-B 24/7?

The fixed 3.6mm lens and 480 TVL resolution set the detail ceiling; you cannot zoom or increase sharpness beyond what the 1/3" Sony Super HAD CCD delivers.
