Purpose-built surveillance camera

The Bluecctv BL-IR9824-H-W-28 is an analog CCTV camera delivering 650 TV lines of resolution through a 1/3" Sony Super HAD II CCD sensor. Effective pixels measure 976 (H) x 508 (V) for clear daytime monitoring. The 2.8mm fixed lens provides a wide field of view suited for general area coverage. White housing blends with light-coloured exteriors.

Installation and integration

This unit operates on 12V DC power and connects via standard analog video cabling to a compatible DVR or monitor. The weatherproof enclosure allows permanent outdoor mounting without additional shielding. Twenty-four infrared LEDs activate automatically in 0 lux conditions, removing the need for external illuminators. Fixed focal length means no on-site lens adjustment is required.

Night performance and power

Infrared illumination reaches 40 feet, enabling facial and object recognition in total darkness. The Effio signal processing maintains consistent image quality across the IR range. Power draw stays modest on a 12V DC supply, simplifying cable runs and transformer sizing. Silent solid-state operation adds no audible noise to the installation site.
