Water-proof F connector for RG-59

The Bluecctv CN FB1116 is a compression-style F connector built for RG-59 coaxial cable runs in surveillance installations. Its water-proof construction protects the connection point from moisture ingress on outdoor camera feeds or exposed building entries. Installers terminating RG-59 for analogue or HD-over-coax systems use this part to maintain signal integrity in wet environments. It is not suited for RG-6 or larger diameter cables.

Compression tool required for reliable seal

A proper compression tool matched to the connector body is needed to achieve the rated water-proof seal; hand-crimp tools will not fully seat the ferrule and can leave a leak path. Over-compression can deform the centre pin and raise return loss on long runs. The connector is designed for standard RG-59 dimensions only; cables with non-standard jacket thickness or quad-shield construction may not seat correctly. No weather boot or tape is included in the package.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the CN FB1116 compression fitting is seated correctly on the RG-59 cable after installation?

After compressing the connector onto the RG-59 cable, inspect the jacket seal for a uniform crimp around the full circumference and tug gently to verify mechanical hold.

What comes with the Bluecctv CN FB1116 and what must I purchase separately to complete a run?

The package contains the water-proof compression F connector only; you must buy RG-59 coaxial cable and a compatible compression tool separately.
