White dome camera for analogue CCTV systems

The Bluecctv CS-D620SI2812D2 is a new analogue dome camera delivering 620 TV lines from a 1/3" Sony Super HAD CCD II sensor. It suits installers extending or maintaining coaxial DVR networks where IP cabling is not practical. Buyers who want megapixel IP resolution or PoE-powered devices cannot use this camera.

Varifocal IR lens and dual-voltage power

A 2.8~12mm varifocal IR lens lets the installer adjust the field of view on site, while 24 IR LEDs illuminate up to 82 ft in total darkness at 0.01 lux (F/1.2). Advanced WDR, DIS and 3D-DNR handle high-contrast and low-light scenes. The camera accepts DC 12 V or AC 24 V, so it fits existing power infrastructure without extra converters.

Bracket mount with second video output

The dome housing is designed for ceiling or wall bracket mounting and includes a secondary video output for local focus checking during installation. Common issues arise when the varifocal ring is not locked after focusing, when the IR cut filter sticks in cold weather, or when the dual-power terminals are wired to the wrong voltage.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 2.8-12 mm varifocal lens or a fixed focal length for this camera?

This model only ships with the 2.8-12 mm varifocal lens, so you adjust the field of view during installation instead of choosing a separate fixed option.

What does the 620 TVL rating actually deliver on a recorder?

620 TV lines give roughly .6 megapixel equivalent detail, so recorded footage resolves fine textures such as facial features or licence plates at typical CCTV distances.

How far can the 24 IR LEDs illuminate in total darkness?

The 24 IR LEDs provide up to 82 ft of visible range in zero light, and the 2.8-12 mm lens lets you narrow or widen that coverage to match the scene.
