Outdoor 1080p HD-TVI bullet camera

This Bluecctv bullet camera delivers HD 1080p video over a single coaxial line using HD-TVI technology. The 2.1 megapixel sensor produces 1920x1080 resolution with true day/night switching via an ICR filter and wide dynamic range for balanced exposure. It is built for outdoor surveillance where long-distance infrared coverage is required.

72 IR LEDs reaching 196ft night vision

Seventy-two infrared LEDs illuminate scenes up to 196 feet (60 metres) in total darkness. The camera operates on a 12 V DC supply, drawing modest power typical for analog HD-TVI devices. With no moving parts beyond the mechanical ICR, acoustic noise is negligible in normal operation.

Vari-focal 2.8-12mm lens on one coax run

The 2.8-12mm vari-focal lens lets installers adjust the field of view on site without swapping modules. HD-TVI carries video, audio and data over one coaxial cable up to 1000 feet, reducing cabling compared with separate runs. Buyers who need IP networking or PoE power will need a different camera type.

Questions about this item

How do I mount and aim the bullet camera and adjust the 2.8-12mm varifocal lens without losing focus?

Mount the bracket to a solid surface, run a single coaxial cable for HD-TVI video, audio and data up to 1000ft, connect DC 12V power, then rotate the lens barrel while watching the 1080p feed until the 2.1MP image is sharp across the desired field of view.

Which parts of the camera will need cleaning or replacement after extended outdoor use?

The 72 IR LEDs and the ICR day/night filter mechanism are the main items that degrade; wipe the lens cover and LED window periodically, and plan to replace the IR illuminator array if night range drops below the rated 196ft.

At what distance does the infrared illumination start to fall off during continuous night recording?

The 72 LEDs are rated for up to 196ft (60m); beyond that range the 1080p sensor receives insufficient IR light, so sustained night coverage effectively ends at the stated 196ft limit.
