8-Channel Hybrid DVR System

This 8-channel hybrid DVR recorder accepts HD-TVI, analog and IP cameras on the same unit. It ships with a 4 TB hard drive already installed for local storage. The system suits installers who want a single recorder for mixed camera types without running separate network infrastructure.

1080p at 25 or 30 fps video

Live preview runs at 1080p or 720p resolution at 25 or 30 frames per second with no perceptible delay. Coaxial transmission reaches 300 to 500 metres without video loss. One coax cable carries composite video, audio and PTZ control signals together, keeping cabling identical to legacy analogue layouts.

Pre-fitted 4 TB hard drive

The included 4 TB drive eliminates the need to source and mount storage before commissioning. Recording starts as soon as cameras are connected and the recorder is powered on. No additional software licences or cloud subscriptions are required for basic local recording and playback.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the cameras to the 8CH Hybrid DVR and what is the maximum cable distance?

Connect cameras using coaxial cable for HD-TVI, analog, or IP signals. The system supports transmission distances of 300-500m with no video loss over a single coaxial cable carrying video, audio, and PTZ data.

What maintenance does the pre-installed 4TB HDD require?

The 4TB HDD is pre-installed and requires no scheduled maintenance. Monitor recording capacity and drive health via the DVR interface; replace the drive only if storage limits are reached or a hardware failure occurs.

At what frame rate does the 1080P recording limit occur during continuous use?

The 1080P video signal is capped at 25 or 30 fps per channel. This frame-rate ceiling is the first limit reached under sustained recording across all eight channels.
