BlueDiamond Cat5e 14 ft patch cable

This 14 ft BlueDiamond Cat5e patch cable is built for wired network connections in homes and offices. It uses 350 MHz stranded UTP construction with snagless connectors that resist catching on other cables. The cable meets Draft 11 specification and carries CSA and UL approvals for safety compliance. It supports 10 Mbps, 100 Mbps and Gigabit Ethernet applications.

Suits fixed workstations and rack patches.

Installers who need a reliable indoor patch lead for desks, patch panels or switches will find the snagless design and retail blister packaging convenient. The unshielded twisted pair build is not rated for outdoor burial, direct sunlight or plenum spaces. Buyers who need shielded cable, longer reaches or specialised jacketing should look at other cable types.

350 MHz Cat5e rating

The cable is rated at 350 MHz and wired to EIA/TIA 568A for 10Base-T and Token Ring compatibility. This frequency rating determines the bandwidth headroom for Gigabit speeds over the 14 ft length. Verify that your network equipment and cabling standards accept Cat5e performance before purchase.
