BlueDiamond Cat6 Patch Cable 35ft

This 35ft Yellow Cat6 patch cable is a Category 6 compliant networking cable designed to connect computers, switches, routers or patch panels in a wired LAN. It uses stranded 4-pair UTP construction with 8 conductors and is EIA/TIA-568A wired for 10/100/1000Base-T or Token Ring applications.

Suited For And Not Suited For

The cable suits installers needing a pre-terminated 35ft run rated to 550MHz with UL and SCA approvals for standard Gigabit Ethernet or Token Ring networks. It is not for buyers who require shielded cabling, outdoor-rated jackets, plenum fire ratings or lengths other than 35ft.

Key Specification

The cable is built with 350MHz stranded 4-pair UTP conductors and tested to a 550MHz bandwidth rating, meeting Draft 11 and Category 6 compliance for the stated applications.

Questions about this item

Will the snagless moulded boots on this Cat6 cable need replacement after repeated unplugging?

The snagless moulded boots are designed to prevent breakage during normal insertion and removal cycles.

What frequency limit appears first when running sustained data through this 350 MHz stranded UTP cable?

The stranded 4-pair construction is rated to 350 MHz, which becomes the practical ceiling before the 550 MHz category rating.

Does the 35-foot length increase heat or power draw when the link runs all day at 1000Base-T?

Passive copper UTP adds no active heat or power draw; the 35 ft run stays within the 100 m channel limit for 10/100/1000Base-T.
