Vehicle Brush for Fleet and Detail Use

The Boardwalk BWK8410 is a 10 inch polystyrene brush built for washing cars, trucks and fleet vehicles. Its 2.5 inch bristles and vinyl bumper protect paintwork while loosening road grime. Professional detailers and maintenance crews will find the flow-through block compatible with standard threaded handles. Handle is not included.

Threaded Handle Interface Limits

The block accepts a 1.13 inch diameter tapered thread, so only handles matching that specification will fit securely. The flow-through design allows water to pass through the block, but pressure and flow rate depend entirely on the handle and supply used. No quick-connect or proprietary adapter is mentioned in the specifications.

Upgrade from Basic Wash Mitts

This brush replaces hand-held mitts or fixed-handle brushes when a longer reach and interchangeable handle are required. The jump is worth it for teams cleaning large panels, roofs or high-sided vehicles where a separate extension pole speeds the job. It does not suit buyers needing a built-in handle or softer natural fibres.

Questions about this item

What bristle length should I choose for general vehicle washing?

The 2.5 inch bristles on this brush hold plenty of soap and water while staying firm enough to lift road grime without scratching.

How does the 10 inch brush width perform on a real car or truck?

At 10 inches wide the block covers a large panel per stroke so you finish a hood roof or door quickly while the flow-through design keeps suds moving.

Will the 1.13 inch threaded hole fit my existing handles?

Yes the tapered 1.13 inch opening matches the standard Acme thread used on most extension poles and flow-through handles sold separately.
