Solar-powered 4G PTZ camera

The BoaVision S10-4G is a wire-free outdoor security camera that runs on a built-in 18650 battery charged by an included 7.8W solar panel. It connects exclusively via 4G LTE bands B2, B4, B12 and WCDMA bands B2, B5, requiring an active SIM card with a data plan. The IP65-rated dome suits homeowners who want flexible placement without wiring or Wi-Fi coverage.

4G-only connectivity and storage limits

The camera does not support Wi-Fi at all, so a compatible 4G SIM card is mandatory for any remote access or alert delivery. Local recording relies on a microSD card up to 128 GB, which is not supplied, while cloud storage activates only for alarm-triggered clips. Motion detection uses PIR plus radar, and the pan-tilt mechanism covers 360° horizontally and 120° vertically at speeds of 55°/s and 40°/s respectively.

1080P resolution with 15 m night vision

The 2-megapixel sensor captures 1920 x 1080 video through a fixed 3.6 mm lens. Four white LEDs and two infrared LEDs provide full-colour night vision down to 0.00001 lux, reaching 15 m or 49.2 ft in darkness. Buyers needing higher resolution, optical zoom, or Wi-Fi integration should consider other models.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the black or white housing?

Both colours share the same 1080P sensor, 3.6mm lens, 4G LTE bands B2/B4/B12 and WCDMA B2/B5, solar panel with 7.8W output and four pre-installed 18650 cells, so choose the colour that blends best with your mounting location.

What does 1080P actually deliver on this camera?

The 1920 x 1080 resolution at 3.6mm focal length gives a 360° horizontal and 120° vertical field of view, with colour night vision down to 0.00001 Lux and IR reach to 15m or 49.2ft.

Which 4G bands does the SIM slot support and what speed ceiling should I expect?

The modem works on LTE bands B2, B4 and B12 plus WCDMA bands B2 and B5; real-world throughput will follow the carrier's coverage on those bands.
