What it is and who it suits

The Bobtot SoundAir SO-S is a pink portable Bluetooth speaker rated at 5 watts total power in a 2.0 channel configuration. It targets listeners who want a compact, water-resistant unit for personal music or calls within a 33 foot range. The 2 inch woofer covers frequencies up to 18 KHz with a 65 decibel signal-to-noise ratio. Buyers needing higher output, multi-room audio or a wired input will not be served by this model.

Thermals noise and power draw

Active amplification runs on a built-in 1200mAh rechargeable battery that delivers up to 20 hours of playback per charge. A power-saving mode extends usable time between charges for all-day listening. The sealed IPX5 enclosure handles splashes and shower spray without overheating or fan noise because no active cooling is present. Normal operation stays silent aside from the audio program itself.

Bundled extras and their effect

A carrying strap is included so the 0.45 lb unit can hang from a bag, hook or shower caddy for hands-free use. The integrated microphone enables phone calls and voice-assistant commands without reaching for the paired device. Bluetooth 5.0 provides a steadier link and the full 33 foot range compared with older versions. No companion app, EQ presets or charging dock are supplied.
