Egg-sized Bluetooth speaker

The EWA A106 is a palm-sized portable speaker weighing 0.23 kg and measuring 1.9 in x 1.9 in x 1.6 in. It targets listeners who want music in tight spaces such as a shower, dorm room or backpack. The silver aluminium body houses a 3 W driver paired with a passive subwoofer. Bluetooth connectivity provides a 20 m operating range for wireless streaming from phones or tablets.

Case, hook and USB-C cable

A hard carrying case protects the speaker during transport and allows playback while the unit remains inside. A metal hook clips to bags or belt loops for hands-free carrying. The box includes a USB-C charging cable and a user manual. There is no microphone, 3.5 mm jack or extra control buttons; a single silicone button handles power, pause and track skipping.

Bluetooth range and battery limits

The wireless link works up to 20 metres in open air, but walls or interference will reduce that distance. The built-in battery delivers 5 hours at full volume and up to 8 hours at 50 % volume. A half-hour charge with a 1 A adaptor yields roughly 3 hours of play time. The 2.0 speaker configuration means there is no true stereo separation from a single unit.
