Ceiling speaker for distributed audio

The Bogen S86T725PG8U is an 8-inch ceiling speaker designed for 70 V and 25 V constant-voltage systems. It includes a 4-watt transformer with six selectable power taps. The unit ships pre-assembled with a bright white steel grille for quick mounting.

Installers needing multi-zone paging

This speaker suits commercial offices, schools and retail spaces that use a central amplifier with transformer-tapped speakers. It is not for buyers who want a low-impedance home hi-fi speaker or a weather-rated outdoor model.

4-watt transformer with six power taps

The T725 transformer provides taps at 4, 2, 1, 1/2, 1/4 and 1/8 watt, letting the installer match each zone to the amplifier load. This single specification determines whether the speaker fits the system design.
