Wall Mounted Forehead Thermometer

The BONAEVER infrared thermometer mounts on a wall to give quick, non-contact temperature checks in schools, offices, shops, hotels, train stations and community centres. It reads forehead temperature from a distance of .39 to 3.94 inches and delivers a result in about one second. The device is intended for organisations that need a hands-free screening point without requiring staff to hold a handheld unit.

Dual Power and Mounting Options

The unit runs from a USB power source, a portable power bank or an internally fitted battery, so it can stay wired at a reception desk or move to a temporary entrance. Two mounting methods are provided: a hanging slot and double-sided adhesive tape, allowing installation on a wall, a partition or a stand without tools. Celsius and Fahrenheit scales are selected through a mode switch hole on the body.

Accuracy Range and Fever Alarm

Measurement accuracy is stated as plus or minus .4 and the large LCD screen shows the reading clearly. A flashing red light and audible alarm activate when the detected temperature exceeds 37.5 Celsius or 99.5 Fahrenheit, giving an immediate alert for elevated readings. The thermometer is not suited for clinical diagnostics that require tighter tolerances or for environments needing data logging or network integration.

Questions about this item

What battery type does the thermometer use and how often should it be replaced?

The unit runs on a user-installed battery or USB power; battery life depends on usage, so replace when readings become inconsistent or the LCD dims.

How long can the device measure continuously before the sensor needs a cool-down?

The thermometer is rated for 1-second readings at 0.39-3.94 inches with ±0.4 accuracy; no duty-cycle limit is published, but allow brief pauses during very high traffic.

Does the unit get warm or make noise during all-day operation?

It is a non-contact infrared sensor with no moving parts, so it stays cool and silent; only the audible fever alarm sounds when a reading exceeds 37.5 °C or 99.5 °F.
