Medium-room conferencing camera

The Boom Collaboration MIDI PTZ Camera delivers Full HD video with a 77 degree field of view suited to medium meeting rooms. It provides 10x optical zoom extended to 20x total zoom and includes auto-focus for clear images at distance. Ten preset positions let operators recall framing instantly. The device connects via USB 2.0 for simple plug-and-play deployment.

USB-powered PTZ with preset recall

USB 2.0 supplies both power and data so no separate mains adapter is required. The ten stored presets allow quick transitions between speaker, whiteboard and wide-room views during a call. Auto-focus maintains sharpness when the camera pans, tilts or zooms between those positions. This bundle of power, control and preset recall reduces cabling and setup time for meeting-room installations.

Questions about this item

Will the USB 2.0 port need a firmware update to maintain compatibility?

The camera connects via USB 2.0 and draws power from the same port; no separate firmware channel is described for the interface itself.

At what zoom level does image detail degrade during long meetings?

The lens provides 10x optical zoom and a combined 20x zoom; detail loss typically appears when digital magnification extends beyond the optical range.
