Professional Record Book

The Boorum & Pease 66500R is a hardbound account book designed for permanent record keeping. It suits offices, accountants and anyone who needs a tamper-evident log of financial or operational data.

Upgrade from loose sheets

This book replaces ring binders, spiral pads or loose-leaf pages that can be reordered or removed. The jump is worth it when you need a single, sequential volume with numbered pages and a Table of Contents for audit trails.

Check binding and ruling

Verify that Smyth-sewn binding, which opens flat, fits your workspace and writing style. Confirm that the Record Rule line format matches the column layout you require for entries.

Questions about this item

What size shelf or drawer will the 12 1/8 x 7 5/8 inch book fit?

The book measures 12 1/8 inches by 7 5/8 inches, so allow at least that footprint plus a small margin for easy removal from a shelf or drawer.

How do I start using the Table of Contents and numbered pages without skipping entries?

Reserve the first Table of Contents page, then write each entry on its matching numbered page as you go; the Smyth-sewn binding opens flat so nothing curves into the gutter.

Will the paper yellow or the binding loosen after years of storage?

The acid-free paper resists yellowing and the Smyth-sewn binding is designed to stay intact through repeated flat opening, so the 500 pages remain legible and secure.
