Compact wireless bass module

The Bose Bass Module 500 is a wireless subwoofer designed to pair with the Bose Soundbar 500, Soundbar 700 and SoundTouch 300 soundbar. It delivers deep, room-filling low frequencies from a 10-inch cube that can be tucked out of sight. Setup is wireless and takes only minutes. Buyers who need a wired subwoofer connection or a larger cabinet for higher output will not be served by this design.

Upgrade from soundbar-only bass

Adding this module replaces the soundbar’s built-in low-end with a dedicated driver that produces thunderous bass for music, movies and TV. The jump is worth it when the soundbar alone feels lightweight during action scenes or bass-heavy tracks. It does not add surround channels or height effects, so listeners who want a full 5.1 experience will need additional speakers.

Wireless placement limits

The module connects to compatible soundbars over a proprietary wireless link with a 30-foot range. Obstacles such as thick walls or metal furniture can reduce reliable distance. The unit requires a mains power outlet near its chosen spot. It cannot be used as a standalone Bluetooth speaker or connected to non-Bose soundbars.
