QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen)

Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen) are true wireless in-ear headphones with adjustable noise cancelling and CustomTune technology that personalizes sound to each ear. They use passive and active noise reduction for Bose's best in-ear cancellation. The earbuds come in Desert Gold and include a Fit Kit with three eartip sizes and three stability bands for a secure fit.

For immersive listeners and multi-device users

These suit anyone wanting personalized audio, strong noise cancellation and a stable fit for long sessions. Multipoint Bluetooth lets you stay connected to two devices at once. Buyers who need longer continuous playtime than six hours per charge or who prefer over-ear designs should consider other styles.

Up to 6 hours battery with 3 extra case charges

The buds deliver up to six hours of playback, or up to four hours with Immersive Audio enabled, and the case holds three additional full charges. A 12-inch USB-C cable is included for wired charging and the case also supports wireless charging. IPX4 water resistance protects against splashes and sweat.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 12" USB-C cable and which eartip combination do people get wrong?

Plug the USB-C cable into the case port and a power source; choose one of the three eartip sizes (S, M, L) and one of the three stability bands (1, 2, 3) for a secure seal — skipping the stability band is the common mistake.

What maintenance will the IPX4-rated earbuds and rechargeable battery need later?

Wipe the plastic, silicone and metal surfaces after exposure to sweat or rain; the built-in battery is not user-replaceable, so plan for eventual capacity loss after many charge cycles.

What limit appears first during a long listening session with noise cancelling on?

The earbuds deliver up to 6 hours of playback (4 hours with Immersive Audio) before the case must supply one of its three additional full charges.
