Immersive 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos Soundbar

The Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar delivers 5.1.2 channel spatial audio using Dolby Atmos and proprietary TrueSpace technology. Six full-range transducers include two upward-firing dipole speakers that create overhead effects. A.I. Dialogue Mode automatically balances vocals against surround content for clearer speech.

Single HDMI eARC or Optical TV Connection

The soundbar connects to a television through one HDMI eARC port or an optical input, with both cables supplied in the box. Wireless streaming relies on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth alongside AirPlay 2, Chromecast and Spotify Connect, so a stable local network is required for those features.

Guided App Setup With ADAPTiQ Calibration

Initial configuration runs through the Bose Music app, which walks the user through ADAPTiQ room calibration using the included headset. Voice-assistant selection for Google Assistant or Alexa is handled in the same flow. The only common stumbling point is ensuring the TV passes eARC audio correctly, which may need a settings change on the display.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 882963-1100 or 882963-1200 model?

The part number 882963-1200 identifies this white-finish Smart Ultra Soundbar; 882963-1100 appears in the specifications as an alternate reference for the same series.

How does the 5.1.2 channel layout perform in a living room?

Six full-range transducers include two upward-firing dipole speakers that reflect sound off the ceiling for overhead effects, while the remaining drivers handle front, centre and surround channels.

What does the HDMI eARC connection actually support?

The supplied HDMI eARC cable carries lossless Dolby Atmos bitstreams from a compatible TV and allows the soundbar to act as the audio endpoint for TV apps and external sources.
