1 DIN Car Receiver with Bluetooth

The BOSS AUDIO EPC_CAU_01Z is a single-DIN head unit designed for drivers who want wireless streaming and multiple wired sources in a standard dashboard opening. It accepts USB drives, SD cards and a 3.5 mm auxiliary jack while providing FM radio with 18 station presets. A remote control is included for convenient operation from the passenger seat.

60 W × 4 channel output and media limits

The unit delivers 60 watts per channel into 4 ohm speakers for a total of 240 watts peak power. MP3 playback is supported from USB, SD or MMC cards, but the receiver cannot play CD, VCD or DVD discs. EQ presets for classic, pop and rock genres are available only during MP3 playback, and the FM tuner covers 87.5 to 108.0 MHz with stereo separation above 25 dB.

Thermal range and low distortion audio

Operating temperature spans -20 to 60 °C, so the receiver functions in both cold winters and hot summers. Total harmonic distortion stays below 0.3 % and signal-to-noise ratio reaches at least 60 dB, keeping music clean at normal listening levels. The blue LED display shows track information and time, while quiescent current draw remains modest for a 12 V vehicle electrical system.

Questions about this item

Will the 1 DIN chassis and 12 V wiring fit my older dashboard without an adapter?

The unit measures 200 mm wide, 75 mm deep and 130 mm high, matching standard 1 DIN openings and runs on 12 V power only.

How can I confirm Bluetooth pairing succeeded on the blue LED screen?

After pressing MODE to AUX, scan for CAR BT on the phone, enter 0000 if prompted, then press MODE again to switch to BT MODE — the display will show the active Bluetooth state.

Does the package include speakers or do I need to buy 4 ohm units separately?

Four loudspeakers are built in, each rated for 4 ohm impedance, so no external speakers are required for basic operation.
