Direct-fit replacement for Mitsubishi HC7900DW

This new projector lamp module ships as a fully assembled bulb and housing ready for the Mitsubishi HC7900DW projector. It uses a genuine Osram P-VIP 240W bulb and matches the original VLT-HC7800LP part number. Installers do not need to handle a bare bulb or align separate components.

Lamp life of 2000 hours normal

The Osram P-VIP 240W bulb is rated for 2000 hours in normal mode and 5000 hours in economy mode. Selecting economy mode extends the interval between replacements. This single figure determines whether the lamp meets the runtime requirements of your installation schedule.

Tool-free module swap with reset required

The assembled module slides into the projector without tools after removing the lamp cover. A common issue is forgetting to reset the lamp-hour counter in the projector menu, which causes premature replacement warnings. The housing includes the correct connector orientation to prevent misalignment.

Questions about this item

How bright will the 240 W Osram P-VIP bulb be once installed in my Mitsubishi HC7900DW projector?

The 240 W Osram P-VIP bulb restores the projector's original brightness specification, delivering the same light output as the factory-fitted lamp for the HC7900DW.

What projector interface does the VLT-HC7800LP module use and does it limit any features?

The module plugs directly into the Mitsubishi HC7900DW lamp connector with no adapter required and imposes no restrictions on projector functions or picture modes.

What physical space and mounting points does the assembled lamp housing need inside the HC7900DW?

The pre-assembled housing matches the exact dimensions and screw locations of the original VLT-HC7800LP, so it slides into the HC7900DW lamp compartment and secures with the existing captive screws.
