Purpose & fit

The BOXLIGHT Mitsubishi LVP-WD8200 is a genuine compatible replacement projector lamp module with a new UHB 330W bulb pre-fitted in its housing. It is designed for users who need to restore brightness to a Mitsubishi LVP-WD8200 projector without sourcing the original VLT-XD8000LP part separately.

Compatibility check

Verify that your projector is the Mitsubishi LVP-WD8200 model before ordering. The module arrives fully assembled, so no separate bulb handling is required. Confirm that the existing lamp compartment accepts the standard housing form factor used for this series.

Build & daily use

The lamp is manufactured to ISO 9001 standards using bulbs from Philips, Osram, Ushio, Phoenix, Iwasaki or Matsushita. Rated life is 2000 hours in normal mode or 4000 hours in economy mode. The pre-assembled housing allows a straightforward swap, and each unit is tested for beam performance, ignition, voltage and run-time before shipping.

Questions about this item

Does the lamp arrive fully assembled with the housing, or do I need to buy the cage separately?

The module ships as a complete unit with the new 330W UHB bulb already fitted inside the housing, so no extra cage or parts are required for installation.

How do I decide between the OEM and compatible versions listed for the LVP-WD8200?

All four versions — direct OEM, Mitsubishi-branded OEM, alternate OEM and the compatible — meet ISO9001 quality checks; choose the OEM options for original-brand assurance or the compatible for a lower cost using genuine OEM parts.

What does the 330W rating mean for brightness and heat in my Mitsubishi projector?

The 330W UHB bulb delivers the light output the projector was designed for, with a rated life of 2000 hours in normal mode or 4000 hours in economy mode.
