  • Yellow, white, black and red colour coding simplifies cable management
  • Plug-and-play design needs no tools or drivers

Four-piece RCA Y-splitter set

This set contains four RCA Y-splitter adapters each with one male plug and two female jacks. They let you duplicate a single audio or video signal to two cables without soldering or extra wiring. The plug-and-play design suits home-theatre, studio or portable rigs where quick re-patching is needed.

Check cable gender and signal type

Verify that your source equipment has a female RCA socket to accept the adapter's male plug. Confirm the downstream cables carry the same signal type — composite video, stereo audio or mono — so the split does not mismatch channels. The adapters are passive so they require no external power.

Passive construction with zinc-alloy housing

Gold-plated contacts and a zinc-alloy shell resist corrosion while keeping insertion loss low. The compact 4.3 by 2.5 cm body adds negligible strain on panel-mounted jacks. Because the adapters draw no power they generate no heat and add no audible noise to the signal path.

Questions about this item

What is included in the package and do I need any extra cables?

The package contains four RCA Y-splitter adapters, each with one male plug and two female jacks, supplied in a storage bag. Your existing RCA cables plug directly into the female jacks so no additional leads are required.

How do I decide which of the four colours to use for a particular connection?

The set provides yellow, white, black and red adapters; use the colour that matches the signal you are splitting — for example yellow for composite video, red and white for stereo audio, and black for an extra channel or subwoofer feed.

Will the 30 g adapter add noticeable weight or strain to a rear-panel RCA socket?

At only 30 g and measuring 4.3 × 2.5 cm the adapter is light and compact, so it places minimal leverage on the socket and fits easily behind equipment without stressing the connection.
