Two-Pack DisplayPort Elbow Adapter

This two-pack provides a DisplayPort female-to-male elbow adapter for connecting a computer or laptop to a monitor or projector. The right-angle design reduces cable strain in tight spaces behind desks or equipment racks. It supports plug-and-play operation with no driver installation required. Each aluminium alloy shell aids heat dissipation and resists wear during repeated use.

Bandwidth and Compatibility Limits

The adapter handles up to 32.4 Gbps bandwidth and is rated for the DisplayPort 1.4 standard. It remains backwards compatible with the 1.2 specification for older devices. The 8K image quality support depends entirely on the source and display hardware meeting the same standard. Total throughput cannot exceed the lowest-rated link in the chain.

Aluminium Shell and Daily Use

The aluminium alloy housing provides shielding against electromagnetic interference and dissipates heat during extended sessions. The elbow connector keeps the cable close to the port, preventing accidental disconnection from sideways pulls. Two units are included so a spare is available for a second workstation or travel kit. Buyers needing a straight-through coupler or a different gender arrangement will need a separate product.

Questions about this item

Which version of the 2-pack elbow adapter should I choose?

Both adapters are identical DP 1.4 elbow units rated for 32.4 Gbps, so either one will serve the same 8K-capable connection.

What does the 32.4 Gbps rating mean when the adapter is installed?

It supports the full DisplayPort 1.4 bandwidth, allowing 8K resolution and high-refresh-rate video to pass through without compression.

How does the DisplayPort 1.4 interface limit real-world performance?

The link is capped at 32.4 Gbps and remains backwards compatible with DP 1.2, so the maximum throughput is defined by that standard.
