HDMI EDID Emulator Adapter

This bi-directional HDMI EDID emulator adapter maintains a stable 1920x1080@60Hz signal between source and display. It solves sync loss when monitors are disconnected or powered off by emulating a constant EDID presence. The unit prevents Windows from rearranging desktop layouts during KVM switching or display changes. It operates without drivers, software, or external power for immediate deployment.

Plug-and-play connectivity

The adapter supports both male and female HDMI signal sources for flexible integration with switches, AV receivers, and extenders. It works with DisplayPort or USB-C to HDMI adapters and Thunderbolt connections for Mac compatibility. Hot-swapping capability allows device changes without signal interruption or system re-detection. Low power consumption draws directly from the HDMI port for a clean, cable-free setup.

Fixed 1080p60 limitation

The highest supported resolution is 1920x1080@60Hz, restricting use to Full HD workflows and legacy display chains. Chroma sampling options include YCbCr 4:4:4, 4:2:2, 4:2:0, and RGB for color depth flexibility within that ceiling. Buyers needing 4K, high-refresh-rate, or HDR passthrough cannot use this emulator. It serves strictly as a 1080p60 EDID lock for stable multi-display or KVM environments.
