10-pack RCA speaker-wire adapters

This set includes ten press-style adapters, five male and five female, that convert bare speaker wire to RCA plugs without soldering or screws. Installers press the button, insert stranded or solid-core wire up to 14 AWG, then release for a secure connection. The adapters suit CCTV installers, security monitors, LED lighting, transducers and general audio-video signal conversion.

Five male and five female connectors

The mixed pack gives enough ends for a typical multi-camera or multi-zone installation, letting you terminate both sides of a run from one box. Each adapter accepts wire up to 14 AWG, so thicker gauge cable will not fit and a different connector is required for those cables. No soldering tools or screwdrivers are needed, reducing time on site.

Tool-free press terminals

The push-button clamps hold wire by spring pressure alone, so there are no moving screws to loosen over vibration and no heat from soldering irons. Power draw and thermal load are negligible because the adapters are passive metal contacts carrying only the signal or low-voltage DC present in the connected circuit. Noise performance depends entirely on the quality of the wire and the shielding of the overall installation.

Questions about this item

Will the 14 AWG speaker wire I already use fit these adapters?

Yes, the press-style terminals accept stranded or solid-core wire up to 14 AWG without soldering or screws.

How can I confirm each adapter is making a solid connection after I press the wire in?

Tug gently on the inserted wire; it should stay firmly seated in the terminal with no exposed conductor visible.

The pack lists 5 male and 5 female plugs — are any extra cables or tools included?

Only the ten adapters are supplied; speaker wire and any cutting or stripping tools must be purchased separately.
