Boxwave Scart 20 Pin Male to 3 RCA AV Female + S Video audio adapter

Compact SCART to RCA and S-Video adapter

This Boxwave adapter converts a 20-pin SCART male plug into three RCA female sockets and one S-Video female socket. It lets you connect legacy SCART sources such as set-top boxes or game consoles to displays or capture devices that only accept composite or S-Video inputs. The passive design requires no external power and fits in tight spaces behind equipment racks. The black housing measures 5.8 by 5.1 by 2 centimetres and weighs 35 grams.

Simple plug-and-play installation

Insert the SCART end firmly until the connector seats fully; loose contact is the most common cause of missing colour or audio. Ensure each RCA plug matches its colour-coded socket to avoid channel swaps. The S-Video port carries luminance and chrominance separately, so a bent pin inside the mini-DIN will break the signal — inspect before connecting. No drivers or configuration are needed, but the adapter cannot convert RF-modulated SCART signals or pass component video.
