USB Audio Adapter for Headsets

The Boxwave USB Headphone Adapter adds a 3.5 mm TRRS port to PCs, PS4, PS5 and other compatible devices. It supports both microphone input and stereo output through a single connection. The adapter is aimed at users whose built-in audio jack is missing or damaged. It does not suit buyers who need digital optical or multi-channel surround outputs.

Plug-and-Play Installation

No driver download or external power is required; the system recognises the adapter within seconds. The 9.8 inch braided cable reaches front or rear ports without strain. Compatibility follows CTIA TRRS standards, so headsets wired to OMTP pinouts will not work correctly. The supplier notes the adapter does not function with TVs, cars, PS3 or trucks.

Sustained Use Behaviour

An integrated smart chip decodes and amplifies the analogue signal for consistent clarity during long sessions. The metal casing and braided cord resist wear from repeated plugging and daily transport. Audio quality remains stable without the drop-outs sometimes seen on bus-powered dongles under continuous load.
