Brady Class 8 Corrosive Labels

Brady 121070 Haz Material Shipping Labels are DOT-compliant vinyl labels printed in black and white with the Corrosive 8 message. Each label measures four inches by four inches and is supplied in a pack of 500. They are designed for marking hazardous Class 8 containers during transport.

For shippers handling corrosive goods

These labels suit operations that must mark Class 8 corrosive packages to meet DOT requirements. They are not intended for other hazard classes, non-hazardous shipments or applications needing a different legend or language. Buyers needing Class 3, Class 6 or custom text should look at alternative label types.

Capacity and headroom

A pack of 500 labels covers high-volume shipping cycles and reduces reorder frequency for busy mailrooms. The vinyl material resists moisture and abrasion during transit. Very large distribution centres may consume a pack quickly and should plan for repeat orders.

Questions about this item

What surface preparation is required before applying these 4-inch vinyl labels?

Clean the container surface so it is dry and free of oil, dust or residue; the vinyl adhesive bonds best to a smooth, degreased area.

Can these Class 8 Corrosive labels be used on the same shipment as other hazard-class labels?

Yes, each label is a standalone DOT placard; apply the required additional class labels beside this one so all hazards are visible.

After affixing the 500 labels from the pack, what visual check confirms they are compliant for transport?

Verify the black-on-white "Corrosive 8" text and Class 8 symbol are sharp, fully legible and oriented upright on each package.
