Brady R10000 Resin Ribbon Cartridge

The Brady 76739 R10000 is a black resin thermal transfer ribbon cartridge designed for the GlobalMark 2 industrial label maker. It supplies 200 feet of 4 3/32 inch wide ribbon in a printer-specific cartridge format for single-colour label production.

Sustained print performance

The resin formulation delivers scratch-resistant and solvent-resistant print output that maintains legibility under continuous industrial use. ISO 9001 compliance indicates consistent manufacturing quality across the full 200-foot roll rather than only in short test prints.

Upgrade from wax ribbons

This resin cartridge replaces general-purpose wax ribbons when labels must withstand abrasion, chemicals or outdoor exposure. The jump is worth it for asset tags, wire markers and safety labels that require durable adhesion and long-term readability in harsh environments.

Questions about this item

Does the resin ribbon generate noticeable heat or noise when the GlobalMark 2 runs continuous print jobs?

The R10000 cartridge is a passive thermal-transfer ribbon; it has no moving parts or electronics, so it adds no audible noise or measurable heat beyond the printer's own printhead.

Which printer and ribbon width must I already have for this 4 3/32 in cartridge to install correctly?

The cartridge is built for the GlobalMark 2 Industrial Label Maker and matches its 4 3/32 in ribbon width; any other model or width will not accept it.

Will the R10000 resin formulation adhere to labels previously printed with wax or wax-resin ribbons on the same GlobalMark 2?

Resin requires higher printhead energy than wax or wax-resin; switching formulations on the same printer is possible but you must adjust heat and speed settings for proper adhesion.
