USB-C 180° adapter for tight ports

This two-pack provides a U-shaped USB-C connector that bends 180 degrees to relieve strain on the port and cable. Each adapter handles up to 48 volts at 5 amps for 240 watts of power delivery. Data moves at 40 gigabits per second under the USB 4.0 standard. Video output reaches 8K resolution.

Check port orientation and device limits

Verify that your host device has a USB-C port with enough clearance for the U-shaped bend. Confirm the connected cable and peripheral support 40 gigabit speeds and 8K video, because the adapter passes only what the link allows. Thunderbolt 3 and 4 hosts are compatible, but actual throughput depends on the complete chain.

Two adapters enable dual setups

The pair lets you equip two workstations or keep a spare for travel without buying another pack. Plug-and-play operation means no drivers or software are required on any supported laptop or MacBook. Rated for more than 10 000 insertion cycles, the connectors resist wear from frequent connect and disconnect cycles.

Questions about this item

Does the 2-pack include any cables or only the two 180-degree adapters?

The package contains two U-shaped USB-C 180-degree adapters with female connectors; cables are not included and must be purchased separately.

Should I choose this 40 Gbps model or a slower version for Thunderbolt 4?

This adapter supports the full 40 Gbps USB 4.0 bandwidth required by Thunderbolt 4 and 3, so no slower version is needed for that use case.

Will the 240 W rating actually deliver 240 W to my laptop through Thunderbolt?

The adapter passes up to 48 V at 5 A (240 W) power delivery, but actual wattage depends on your charger, cable and laptop negotiations.
