What this adapter does

This two-pack of USB-C right-angle adapters connects a male plug to a female port at a 90-degree angle. It relieves strain on cables and device ports while saving space in tight setups. The adapters suit owners of tablets, laptops and hubs that use a Type-C connection.

Power and video limits

Each adapter carries up to 240W of Power Delivery for fast charging. When paired with a USB 4.0 cable it can pass 8K video at 60Hz. The single specification that decides fit is whether your cable and host both support the required USB 4.0 standard for that resolution.

Thermals noise and power draw

The adapter has no active cooling and produces no audible noise in normal use. It draws only the power needed for the connected device up to the 240W ceiling. An integrated LED indicates charging status without adding measurable heat.

Questions about this item

What does the 240 W power-delivery rating mean when the adapter is connected to a laptop?

It allows up to 20 V at 5 A through the adapter so a compatible laptop can charge at its maximum supported rate.

How does the Thunderbolt 4 interface limit real-world data speed through this adapter?

The adapter passes up to 40 Gbps, but the actual throughput depends on the host, cable and peripheral all supporting that speed.

What clearance does the 90-degree L-shape need to fit beside a laptop port?

The right-angle design sits flush against the device edge, letting the cable run parallel to the chassis without extra depth.
