Travel-ready 25mm TSA padlock

The Brinks 175-25105 is a 25mm combination padlock built with a zinc diecast body and a flexible cable shackle. It is TSA recognised and Travel Sentry approved, so airport security can open, inspect and re-secure baggage without cutting the lock. The resettable combination lets you set a personal code for luggage, backpacks or briefcases.

Check shackle fit and chemical notice

Verify that the 25mm body and cable shackle dimensions suit the zipper pulls or hasps on your bags. The product carries a California Proposition 65 warning for a chemical known to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm, so factor that into your purchase decision.

Upgrade from fixed-code or non-TSA locks

This lock replaces fixed-combination or non-TSA models when you need a resettable code and airport-screening compatibility. The jump is worth it if you travel by air and want security personnel to relock your bag after inspection. It does not suit buyers who need a keyed mechanism or a hardened shackle for high-security applications.

Questions about this item

Does the Brinks 175-25105 padlock include any accessories or mounting hardware in the box?

The lock ships as a single 25 mm zinc-bodied unit with a flexible cable shackle; no extra accessories or mounting hardware are included.

How do I decide whether the 25 mm size suits my luggage or backpack?

Choose the 25 mm model when you need a compact lock for standard luggage zippers, backpack closures or small briefcase hasps where a larger shackle would not fit.

What does the TSA-recognised status mean when my bag is inspected at the airport?

Security officers can open, inspect and relock the padlock using a master key without cutting the cable, leaving your combination unchanged.
