24-port 100FX modular switch bundle

This Brocade FastIron SX bundle delivers a 24-port 100FX configuration in a modular chassis. The package includes the SX-FI424HF unit and 24 E1MG-100FX-OM optics for fibre connectivity. It is suited for network administrators expanding legacy 100 Mbps fibre segments in campus or wiring-closet environments. IPv4-only operation limits use to IPv4-routed networks.

IPv4-only fibre optics compatibility check

Verify that your existing fibre plant uses multimode optics compatible with the supplied E1MG-100FX-OM transceivers. Confirm that your current switching infrastructure accepts FastIron SX modules and operates on IPv4 exclusively. Networks requiring IPv6 routing or different optical interfaces cannot use this bundle without additional hardware changes.
