OCP 3.0 dual-port 10GBase-T module adds 10, 5, 2.5 and 1 GbE connectivity to supported ProLiant Gen10 Plus servers
This HPE P10097B21 module adds two 1/2.5/5/10GBase-T ports to compatible ProLiant Gen10 and Gen10 Plus servers. It uses the Broadcom BCM57416 controller and installs in an OCP 3.0 slot to expand wired connectivity for data centre workloads.
Buyers running HPE ProLiant DL325, DL360, DL365, XL225n or XL290n Gen10 systems can use this adapter to increase network bandwidth. It is not for servers lacking an OCP 3.0 mezzanine slot or for environments requiring fibre-channel or InfiniBand connectivity.
The module conforms to the OCP 3.0 specification and is driven by the Broadcom BCM57416 controller. This single specification determines whether the adapter fits the target server and supports the required 10GBase-T speeds.
