On-camera flash transmitter
The Broncolor RFS 2.1 Transmitter slides into a camera hot shoe to give wireless control of compatible flash units. It operates on 40 selectable channels and offers a range of 656 ft outdoors or 164 ft indoors. Photographers who need reliable remote triggering for studio or location work will find it fits directly into their existing workflow.
Build integration and cabling
The unit synchronises through the hot-shoe centre contact or via a short sync cable, so it works with a broad range of camera bodies without extra adapters. Its compact footprint leaves the accessory shoe free for other accessories when the transmitter is removed. Users who require tethered operation or multi-brand TTL integration will not find those functions here.
Display, test button and power control
A large LCD shows the active studio address, channel and operating status at a glance. A dedicated test button lets you verify flash firing instantly, while two additional buttons adjust the output of all linked units in full-stop or 1/10-stop increments. There is no built-in modelling-light control or firmware-update port on this model.

Questions about this item
How many channels can I switch between before interference becomes the limiting factor during a long shoot?
The transmitter offers 40 selectable frequency channels, so you can avoid crowded bands without running out of clean options.
Will the unit overheat or make noise if I leave it powered on the hot shoe all day?
It is a passive radio transmitter with no fan or cooling system, so it runs silently and produces negligible heat during continuous use.
Does my camera need a standard hot-shoe centre contact or a sync-cable port for this transmitter to fire?
It mounts on any ISO hot shoe using the centre contact and also includes a short sync cable for cameras that require a wired connection.
