Brother TZe-131 laminated tape 12mm

Brother TZe-131 is a laminated label tape 12mm wide and 8 metres long with black print on a clear background. It uses standard adhesive suited to smooth, flat surfaces such as paper, file folders and binders. The tape is designed for indoor and outdoor use across a range of temperatures.

Suits owners of compatible Brother P-touch labellers

This tape works with Brother P-touch models that accept TZ or TZe cassettes, including the PT-D200, PT-D210, PT-H100 and many other listed machines. It is not for users who need a different tape width, a different colour combination, or a non-laminated format. Buyers without a compatible labeler should look at other consumables.

Fits directly into TZ/TZe label cassettes

The cassette drops into the labeler without tools and feeds automatically during printing. Laminated construction protects the printed text from moisture, abrasion and fading. Standard adhesive keeps labels in place on office surfaces while allowing clean removal when needed. The 8m roll supports many labels before replacement.

Questions about this item

Which Brother labeler do I need to use this TZe131 tape?

It works with any Brother P-touch model that accepts TZ or TZe cassettes, such as the PT-D200, PT-H100, PT-1230PC, PT-1830, PT-D400, PT-D600, PT-2730, PT-9600 and many others listed in the compatibility list.

Will this 12 mm clear tape fit in my older PT-18R or PT-300 labeler?

Yes, both the PT-18R and PT-300 are listed as compatible with TZ and TZe tapes, so this 12 mm black-on-clear cassette will load and print correctly.

How can I confirm the tape is feeding and printing properly after I install it?

Print a test label; the output should show crisp black characters on a clear laminated background, the tape should advance smoothly without jamming, and the adhesive should bond firmly to paper, folders or binder surfaces.
