Product identity

Brother CZ1002 is a genuine continuous-length label cassette designed exclusively for the VC-500W label printer. It uses ZINK Zero Ink technology so colours are embedded in the paper and no ink cartridge is required. The cassette holds a single white roll that prints labels, photos or stickers up to 17 inches long.

Who it suits

Creative users and small-office organisers who want water-resistant, tear-resistant and smudge-resistant labels with adhesive backing will find this roll ideal for gift tags, scrapbooking, address labels and general organisation. Buyers who need a different label width, a non-adhesive finish or compatibility with any printer other than the VC-500W should look at other supplies.

Deciding specification

The cassette delivers a 12 mm by 16.4 ft white roll that works only with the Brother VC-500W, so confirming that printer model is the single factor that determines whether this is the right part.

Questions about this item

Will this cassette fit the VC-500W label printer I already own?

Yes, the CZ1002 cassette is designed for the Brother VC-500W, so it installs directly into that machine without any adapter.

How can I verify the cassette is feeding correctly after I load it?

The VC-500W will advance the white ZINK paper automatically; a test print should show full-color output with no ink cartridges required.

Does the box contain only the 12 mm roll or are extra accessories included?

The package holds one CZ-1002 cassette roll measuring .5 inches by 16.4 feet; no additional labels, batteries or cables are supplied.
