Product identity and intended use

The Brother DK2223 is a continuous-length white paper label roll designed for Brother QL series label printers. It suits offices, warehouses and home users who need variable-length labels for packages, binders, shelving and general organisation.

Capacity and headroom

Each roll provides 100 feet (30 m) of 2-inch (5.08 cm) wide label stock that can be cut to any length the printer supports. The continuous format eliminates waste from fixed-size labels, but the roll ends when the 100-foot length is exhausted and cannot be extended.

Printer compatibility limits

The roll works with QL models 500, 550, 570, 580, 650, 700, 710, 720, 800, 810, 820, 1050 and 1060. It is not compatible with printers outside this Brother QL range or with label makers that require die-cut or pre-sized label cassettes.

Questions about this item

Will the DK2223 roll work with my Brother QL-570 label printer?

Yes, the DK2223 roll is compatible with the Brother QL-570 as well as the QL-500, QL-550, QL-570VM, QL-580N and QL-650TD models.

How do I know the DK2223 labels are feeding correctly after I load the roll?

The printer will auto-detect the 2 in wide continuous paper and the first label should print cleanly without gaps or misalignment.

Does the DK2223 box include a new cutter blade or just the paper roll?

The box contains only the continuous length white paper label roll; the cutter blade stays inside the Brother QL printer and is not supplied with the roll.
