Compact monochrome multifunction

The Brother MFC-7360N is a new all-in-one laser device that prints and copies in black and white at up to 24 pages per minute while also providing colour scanning and fax functions. Its 35-page automatic document feeder handles multi-page jobs without manual intervention. A 250-sheet adjustable tray accepts letter or legal paper for everyday office use. Built-in Ethernet lets the unit be shared across a wired network.

Sustained output and scanning workflow

The engine maintains its rated 24 ppm speed for extended print runs thanks to the 250-sheet tray capacity that reduces reload frequency. Colour scans reach a 2400 x 600 dpi optical resolution suitable for archiving documents or sending to OCR, image, file or e-mail destinations. The 10/100 Base-TX network interface keeps data flowing steadily during repeated copy, scan or fax tasks without the bottlenecks that can appear on slower connections.

Straightforward setup with common caveats

Installation follows the usual USB or network printer routine on AC 120V power and the supplied Hi-Speed USB cable connects directly to a PC for local use. Network sharing requires a router or switch with an available Ethernet port and basic TCP/IP configuration. The single paper tray means mixed media jobs need manual paper changes and the monochrome engine cannot produce colour prints.

Questions about this item

How loud or hot does the MFC-7360N get when it runs at 24 ppm all day?

The monochrome laser engine is rated at 24 pages per minute and draws power from a standard AC 120 V supply; typical office use keeps noise and heat at levels expected for a compact desktop multifunction device.

What cables or network gear do I need before the MFC-7360N will print and scan?

Connect the Hi-Speed USB port directly to a PC or plug the 10/100 Base-TX Ethernet jack into your router or switch; both interfaces are built in and require only the appropriate cable.

Will the MFC-7360N work alongside an older parallel-port laser printer on the same network?

Yes — the built-in 10/100 Base-TX Ethernet interface lets the MFC-7360N join the same wired network as legacy devices, so both can share the LAN without extra hardware.
