Compact wireless photo printer for mobile users

The Canon SELPHY CP1500 is a compact wireless photo printer designed for users who want to produce physical prints directly from smartphones, tablets, cameras or USB drives. It uses dye-sublimation thermal transfer technology to deliver 300 x 300 dpi output with 16.8 million colours. Prints are rated to last up to 100 years when stored properly and resist water and marker damage.

Check power and media before ordering

The unit ships without a battery pack, so mains power is required unless the optional accessory is purchased separately. Verify that your devices support Wi-Fi on the 2.4 GHz band or USB 2.0 Type-C for direct connection. Ensure you have the correct paper cassettes for the sizes you intend to use, as the included cassette handles postcard and L sizes only.

App and media expand creative options

The SELPHY Photo Layout app version 3.0 adds layout templates, effects and collaborative printing features for group sessions. An SD card slot enables driver-free printing straight from a camera, while the USB port accepts flash drives. The output tray holds up to 18 sheets, and the included cassette supports postcard and L sizes; square label media requires a separate cassette.
