Genuine TZe laminated label tape for Brother

Brother Genuine TZe laminated label tape is engineered for Brother P-touch label makers. The patented seven-layer construction prints text between layers so the message remains legible after abrasion. Easy Peel split backings allow quick application on smooth, round or textured surfaces. Each cartridge delivers 12 mm wide yellow labels with black print.

What the lamination and adhesive change

The seven-layer lamination shields printed text from moisture, chemicals and UV exposure, keeping labels readable in harsh environments. Strong adhesion holds on curved pipes, textured toolboxes and smooth office equipment without peeling. Split backing liner removes cleanly, reducing waste and speeding up high-volume labelling tasks.

12 mm tape width decides fit for your label maker

The 12 mm width determines whether this cartridge fits the label maker you own and suits the label size your workflow requires. Check the printer’s maximum tape width before purchase; wider or narrower machines cannot use this cartridge. The 6312 model number confirms the exact formulation for compatible Brother devices.

Questions about this item

How often will I need to replace the 12 mm TZe-6312 label tape?

Each cassette holds 8 metres of laminated tape, so replacement depends on how many labels you print and their length; heavy daily use will exhaust a roll faster than occasional labelling.

What stops me from printing continuously with the TZe-6312 cassette?

The 8-metre tape length is the hard limit — once the roll runs out the printer stops until a new cassette is fitted.

Does the 12 mm TZe-6312 tape generate heat or noise during all-day printing?

The tape itself is passive laminated film; it produces no heat, noise or power draw — any warmth or sound comes from the label maker, not the cassette.
