Acid-Free Label Tape for Archives

Brother TZeAF131 is a laminated label tape designed for long-term archival use. The acid-free adhesive protects photographs, artwork and collectibles from chemical damage over time. It suits scrapbookers, gallery staff and collectors who need permanent identification without degradation.

Thermal-Print Compatibility Limits

The tape works only with Brother P-touch printers that accept TZe cassettes. It cannot be used in non-thermal devices or with third-party label makers that require different cartridge formats. Users must verify their specific model supports the TZe series before purchasing.

Laminated Durability and Daily Handling

The laminated surface resists water, chemicals, abrasion and fading during regular handling. Labels can be removed cleanly without leaving residue on delicate surfaces such as photo backs or coin holders. The 12 mm width and 8 m length supply enough material for multiple organising sessions.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 12 mm width or a different size for my P‑touch labeller?

The 12 mm tape fits any P‑touch model that accepts TZe cassettes; choose it when you need a standard label width for filing, photo backs or archive boxes.

How does the acid‑free adhesive behave once the label is stuck on a photograph or scrapbook page?

It bonds securely without attacking paper or emulsion, and peels away cleanly without leaving residue on delicate prints or album pages.

What does the laminated surface protect against in everyday handling?

The lamination resists water splashes, common chemicals, abrasion and fading, so printed text stays legible on crafts, collectibles or gallery tags.
