Bryant Illuminated Wall Switch 20A

The Bryant Illuminated Wall Switch is a 20-ampere single-pole device designed for residential lighting control. Its integrated indicator light provides clear visibility in dark hallways or outdoor areas. The white rocker finish matches standard wall plates for a clean installed appearance.

Extra-wide yoke and corrosion resistance

An extra-wide yoke supplies structural rigidity during daily actuation cycles. Brass and nickel plating on metal parts protects against moisture and oxidation in humid environments. Silver cadmium oxide contacts maintain reliable conductivity over extended service life.

20-ampere single-pole rating

This switch is rated for 20 amperes on a single-pole circuit, making it suitable for standard branch lighting loads. Buyers who require multi-location control or higher current capacity will need a different device. The maintained rocker action stays in the selected position until pressed again.

Questions about this item

How do I wire the 20 A single-pole rocker switch 9901 and which step is often missed?

Connect line and load to the brass terminals, secure ground to the green screw, and do not forget to tighten the terminal screws on the illuminated circuit so the pilot light works.

What part of the 9901 switch will need replacement after years of use?

The silver cadmium oxide contacts and the internal neon lamp are the wear items; the wide yoke and plated hardware are built to last.

What is the first limit reached when the 9901 switch runs at full 20 A load for long periods?

The 20 ampere rating is the hard limit; sustained current above that will overheat the contacts and trip the upstream breaker.
