Green jackets for X-ray storage

These 11pt green jackets are built to hold X-rays and related paperwork in a closed, letter-size format. The flat design has no expansion, so contents stay protected on the bottom and both sides. A full-height gusset and two-ply edges reinforce the structure for frequent handling. They are sold in a box of 50 for offices that process dental or medical imaging daily.

Three-hole front panel and thumbcut

The front panel is punched with three holes that show at a glance whether a jacket already contains films or documents. An embossed full-height tab takes colour-coded labels for quick visual sorting. A thumbcut on the front panel lets you pull a single jacket from a packed shelf without snagging neighbours. These features turn a plain folder into a self-indexing system for high-volume filing.

Drop-in ready for standard letter drawers

Each jacket measures 12-1/4 inches wide by 9-1/2 inches high and fits straight into letter-size hanging rails or drawer frames. No assembly, adhesive or fasteners are required — just label the tab and file. The flat, non-expanding profile means it will not accommodate bulky multi-page bundles or thick diagnostic books. Buyers who need expandable pockets or legal-width capacity should choose a different style.

Questions about this item

Will the 11pt paper stock hold up if I open and close the jacket daily?

The 11pt green stock is a single flat sheet with two-ply reinforced edges, so repeated handling stresses the folded edge rather than a gusset.

What stops me from stuffing more X-rays into the jacket than it can hold?

The flat, non-expanding design has no gusset depth; once the front panel rests against the back panel the jacket is full.

Does the closed-bottom construction trap heat or moisture during all-day shelf storage?

The jacket is passive paper with no powered components, so it generates no heat and adds no measurable thermal load to the shelf.
